Assistant Deputy Minister, Transit/Sous-ministre adjoint des transports en commun

MTO is tasked with ensuring a modern, safe and fast transportation network, vital to creating jobs, improving quality of life for workers, families, and small businesses across Ontario, and supporting a globally competitive economy. You will lead a division, that is responsible for providing oversight of the Ministry's agencies' transit operations in collaboration with the Oversight and Agency Governance Division, while leading and providing oversight for all large capital projects related to transit and the municipal transit-related programs that the ministry funds in partnership with other jurisdictions.
The role provides leadership and overall executive direction to the strategic and long and short-term operational planning, priority setting for transit initiatives led by ministry's agencies. You will drive the development of strategies and policies that guide operational processes and procedures in alignment with legislation, regulations, and the ministry's mandate.
