AMO Municipal Trade and Tariff Forum

In this unprecedented time, AMO is holding a forum for its members, key stakeholders and partners that intends to provide a reliable assessment of tariff and trade disruptions and their impact on Ontario municipalities and business sector. Forum discussion and content will also identify measures to address and mitigate these impacts. AMO’s Trade and Tariff Forum will look to build new alliances and relationships across impacted sectors in support of strong and effective economic advocacy.

  • Elected municipal officials 
  • Municipal staff (economic development, infrastructure, procurement) 
  • Construction sector/associations 
  • Business associations 
  • Provincial staff 

Registration fee: $555 plus HST, the deadline to register is May 30, 2025.

Cancellation Fee: $100. The deadline to cancel your registration is May 30, 2025. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario via e-mail to events@amo.on.ca. Cancellations received prior to 4:00 pm ET, May 30, 2025, will be eligible for a refund less $100.00 (plus HST). Cancellations submitted after 4:00 pm on this date are non-refundable. You are able to transfer your registration. An alternate attendee name may be substituted at any time.
 

Hotel details:

AMO has secured preferred rates of $299 per night until May 15, 2025. After that date, rooms may be available at the Sheraton at market rate.
