Bill 37, Providing More Care, Protecting Seniors, and Building More Beds Act, 2021

AMO provided a submission to the Legislative Committee about Bill 37, the Providing More Care, Protecting Seniors, and Building More Beds Act, 2021.  AMO is generally supportive of the new proposed Long-Term Care Homes Act.  Significant amendments were recommended to the Committee about enabling emotion-focused models of care, balancing enforcement with compliance, and increased allied professionals’ level of care.
